June.

Graduation, Camp Discovery, and a wedding!
June.

Here's a fast recap of my June...

~ Week 1: Graduation ~

🎉
The first week of June I said a whole bunch of good-byes, packed up the motor lab, and went to graduation! Doulos graduated 11 students, and it was incredible to see these kids who've been poured into for years and years finish strong and share about their testimonies and next steps!

~ Week 2: The Calm Before the Storm ~

😴
Quiet. Everything was so quiet. Well, as quiet as it can be in a town where people are often blasting music on just about every corner. No work, and I had the whole house to myself. So I cleaned, cooked a lot, and studied. My streak on Duolingo (learning Spanish) is over 1000 days now!

~ Week 3: Camp Discovery ~

😄
Then, boom! Things got exciting again. A mission team from Texas came down to help us host Camp Discovery! Around 70 kids from the community—some of our students and some from other schools—came on campus each weekday for a morning of games, prizes, and a lesson about the Lord. Some of these kiddos had probably never heard the Gospel before, so camp was a wonderful outreach tool!

I had the privilege of doing one of the talks, and it went great!
🎵
Another highlight was getting to lead a worship night with the mission team.

~ Week 4: A Sneaky Little Trip ~

💍
At the end of June I snuck a quick trip to Illinois to be a groomsman in a close friend's wedding (shout-out to Justin). After the wedding I got to spend a short time with my family, which was wonderful!
🛬
Now as I finish up this newsletter I'm back safely in the DR. And like always, God has been really good.
